LIGHT OUT OF DARKNESS

“For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” 2 Corinthians 4:6

The Scripture above reveals the power and greatness of our God – He commanded light to come out of darkness. And according to the Scriptures, this same God has Himself shined in our hearts! This means He has brought within us the same ability to cause light to shine out of any dark situation.

So as a Christian, the power to cause something positive to come out of any negative situation resides in you. Thus, if for example, a Christian has been diagnosed with cancer or diabetes, to him, that cancer or diabetes is the darkness he’s facing, and the light he desires to see is his healing. God is saying he can produce healing out of that cancer or diabetes! He can call forth his healing.

No matter what darkness may be facing you today, you can command light to come out of it. If it’s sickness or pain in your body, place your hand on that part of your body and call forth healing. Right in the midst of the seeming impossibilities are your opportunities to excel! Call light out of darkness today.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). Notice the construction above; the Apostle Paul wasn’t praying or making entreaties or begging God for spiritual blessings, no! It’s an energetic outburst of luxuriant, profuse, and exuberant worship. He glorifies the Lord who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly realms. He had the mentality that he was already blessed with all spiritual blessings that exist, and became poetic in praise. This should be your testimony! Be full of praise to God because there’s nothing you don’t have, and there’s nothing you can’t do! You’ve been endowed spiritually with all things, and for all things.
