FROM DEATH TO LIFE

When you believe in Jesus, the Bible says you have everlasting life–you've passed from death unto life. John 5:24 says “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” Life referred to here is not the ordinary human life, but Zoe – the God-kind of life. So it means when you were born again, you were translated from spiritual death into Zoe–the life and nature of God. You were transferred from the dominion of darkness into God’s realm of life.

This wasn't something that happened over a process of time, it was instantaneous–it happened the moment you gave your life to Christ. You were immediately translated from death to life, and awakened to the Fatherhood of God. 1 John 3:14 tells us the same thing: “We know that we have been passed from death unto life…” Notice it didn't say “…we are going to pass from death unto life when we get to heaven…” Rather, it says, we KNOW that we've (already) passed from death unto life…” This is the reason you must not allow sickness, disease and infirmity in your body, or accommodate poverty and failure in your life. You belong now in God’s kingdom–His ream of life where only divinity, success, victory, joy, prosperity and divine health reign.

Now, to be translated from death to unto life is not the same thing as someone who died physically and was raise back to life. When Jesus said “…He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life” (John 5:24) He meant the resurrection life, which is the life of the new creation. That’s the God kind of life that supplanted your human life at the new birth. That’s the life that overcomes death- it’s from above; it’s life above death.

I LAY UP GOLD AS DUST! - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

Somebody said, "There’s financial harmattan. Everywhere is just dry". Not me! Dry? Never! Not in my DNA. I am always in surplus! But when do you have the most dust? In time of dryness! Wipe the dust today, come back tomorrow, the dust is back, all over the place. The scripture is saying "In time of dryness, I lay up gold as dust (Job 22:24). Too much money! When their bank accounts are frowning, my own bank accounts are laughing, shouting for joy. Gloryyyyy!!! Remember, everything in life including your bank accounts have intelligence. YOU’RE THE BLESSED OF THE LORD – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). Notice the construction above; the Apostle Paul wasn’t praying or making entreaties or begging God for spiritual blessings, no! It’s an energetic outburst of luxuriant, profuse, and exuberant worship. He glorifies the Lord who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly realms. He had the mentality that he was already blessed with all spiritual blessings that exist, and became poetic in praise. This should be your testimony! Be full of praise to God because there’s nothing you don’t have, and there’s nothing you can’t do! You’ve been endowed spiritually with all things, and for all things. Why did Paul use the phrase “spiritual blessings?” It’s because if you have the spiritual blessings, then you have all earthly blessings, because the spiritual gives birth to the physical. The lesser is included in the greater. Thi...
