“Having therefore, brethren,
boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living
way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his
flesh”
(Hebrews 10:19-20)
In the Old Testament, no one could
enter “the Holy Place” except the high priest, and he could only do so once a
year and not without the blood of atonement. But today, as God’s children, we
live in “the Holy Place” because we live in God’s presence.
Now you don’t need to rely solely on the prayers of others for you, or for any man to go into the presence of God on your behalf. The moment you were born again, you were catapulted into the very presence of God; you can make requests directly to the Father, as you have unlimited access to Him. Hebrews 4:16 says, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
With a right of hearing before the Father, you can talk to Him and fellowship with Him directly. Remember, the Father loves you and delights in your prayers (Proverbs 15:8), for His eyes are over the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers (1 Peter 3:12).
