A SPECIAL BREED


“And these signs shall follow them that believe…” (Mark 16:17) The Christian is a special breed; he belongs to God’s class of being. He’s a partaker of the divine nature; that means, an associate of the God-kind. This is why we say that a Christian ought not to be sick–it’s premised on this reality. You’re born of God’s incorruptible seed—His Word (1 Peter 1:23); therefore, the life in you can’t be corrupted by sickness, disease or death. However, in spite of this truth, there’re still some who believe it’s normal for a Christian to be sick; but that’s completely at variance with what the Word teaches. In Mark 16:17-18, the Lord Jesus said concerning the Christian, “And these signs shall follow them that believe…if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Remarkable! This means, you’re amongst those that can’t be “infected” by anything! Jesus said so, and if He did, then it’s absolute reality. No infection should have power over you. It makes no difference if this hasn’t been your experience, the words of the Master hold true. Meditate on the Word until it becomes your mind-set and experience. He created you for glory, beauty, and excellence; therefore, refuse to accommodate anything that’s inconsistent with His nature in your life.

Somebody said, "There’s financial harmattan. Everywhere is just dry". Not me! Dry? Never! Not in my DNA. I am always in surplus! But when do you have the most dust? In time of dryness! Wipe the dust today, come back tomorrow, the dust is back, all over the place. The scripture is saying "In time of dryness, I lay up gold as dust (Job 22:24). Too much money! When their bank accounts are frowning, my own bank accounts are laughing, shouting for joy. Gloryyyyy!!! Remember, everything in life including your bank accounts have intelligence. YOU’RE THE BLESSED OF THE LORD – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). Notice the construction above; the Apostle Paul wasn’t praying or making entreaties or begging God for spiritual blessings, no! It’s an energetic outburst of luxuriant, profuse, and exuberant worship. He glorifies the Lord who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly realms. He had the mentality that he was already blessed with all spiritual blessings that exist, and became poetic in praise. This should be your testimony! Be full of praise to God because there’s nothing you don’t have, and there’s nothing you can’t do! You’ve been endowed spiritually with all things, and for all things. Why did Paul use the phrase “spiritual blessings?” It’s because if you have the spiritual blessings, then you have all earthly blessings, because the spiritual gives birth to the physical.
