“And these signs shall follow them that believe…” (Mark 16:17)The Christian is a special breed; he belongs to God’s class of being. He’s a partaker of the divine nature; that means, an associate of the God-kind. This is why we say that a Christian ought not to be sick–it’s premised on this reality.
You’re born of God’s incorruptible seed—His Word (1 Peter 1:23); therefore, the life in you can’t be corrupted by sickness, disease or death.
However, in spite of this truth, there’re still some who believe it’s normal for a Christian to be sick; but that’s completely at variance with what the Word teaches. In Mark 16:17-18, the Lord Jesus said concerning the Christian, “And these signs shall follow them that believe…if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Remarkable!
This means, you’re amongst those that can’t be “infected” by anything! Jesus said so, and if He did, then it’s absolute reality. No infection should have power over you. It makes no difference if this hasn’t been your experience, the words of the Master hold true. Meditate on the Word until it becomes your mind-set and experience. He created you for glory, beauty, and excellence; therefore, refuse to accommodate anything that’s inconsistent with His nature in your life.
