WHY CHRISTIANS FALL SICK!

God is more willing to heal us than we are willing to be healed. So why do Christians fall sick? Why do we find a lot of God’s children suffering and in pain? There are several reasons for this, but thank God, there’s no situation that cannot be brought under the control of God’s Word
.
LACK OF KNOWLEDGE
Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” This is the principal reason a lot of God’s people are in sickness: lack of knowledge and understanding of the Word of God concerning them.
The word ‘destroyed’ has as its synonyms ‘suffer’ and ‘perish,’ so we might as well say, “God’s people suffer because of lack of knowledge.” A lot of Christians have perfect understanding of every issue of life except that which is most vital – the Word of God, what God has said concerning them, who they are in Christ, what they can do and what they have in Him.

Only the Word of God can reveal this to us. We need to know who we are, what we can do and what we have. When you know who you are you will know how to live. You will realize there are certain things you don’t need to pray about. We were born into the rest of God, but too many Christians don’t know this. If you’ve entered into God’s rest, you’ve ceased from your own works like God did. But if you don’t know this, you’ll struggle in life.

Hebrews 4:10, ”For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.” That’s why it’s so vital that we have an understanding of the Word of God. Understanding of God’s Word will reveal your identity to you. Then you can live accordingly, because if you don’t know who you are, you can never act accordingly.

I LAY UP GOLD AS DUST! - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

Somebody said, "There’s financial harmattan. Everywhere is just dry". Not me! Dry? Never! Not in my DNA. I am always in surplus! But when do you have the most dust? In time of dryness! Wipe the dust today, come back tomorrow, the dust is back, all over the place. The scripture is saying "In time of dryness, I lay up gold as dust (Job 22:24). Too much money! When their bank accounts are frowning, my own bank accounts are laughing, shouting for joy. Gloryyyyy!!! Remember, everything in life including your bank accounts have intelligence. Let my bank accounts shout for joy, and be glad! Because my bank accounts are favoring God's righteous cause, yea, let my finances say continually , Let the Lord be magnified.... (Psalm 35:27)! Hallelujah!!! Glory to God! It’s time to start laying up gold as dust and it’s time to start funding the Gospel big time. My name is on every naira, every rand, every dollar, every cedis, every euro, and every pound, Just look at them ...

YOU’RE THE BLESSED OF THE LORD – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). Notice the construction above; the Apostle Paul wasn’t praying or making entreaties or begging God for spiritual blessings, no! It’s an energetic outburst of luxuriant, profuse, and exuberant worship. He glorifies the Lord who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly realms. He had the mentality that he was already blessed with all spiritual blessings that exist, and became poetic in praise. This should be your testimony! Be full of praise to God because there’s nothing you don’t have, and there’s nothing you can’t do! You’ve been endowed spiritually with all things, and for all things. Why did Paul use the phrase “spiritual blessings?” It’s because if you have the spiritual blessings, then you have all earthly blessings, because the spiritual gives birth to the physical. The lesser is included in the greater. Thi...
