When you get dreams (real dreams) that have meaning; they always focus on you.
1. Study the Bible, God didn’t give anybody dreams about others. Dreams are personal. Dreams and visions aren’t the same.
So when you have a dream about someone, don’t go warning the person. The dreams have to do with you – the dreamer is the one to receive the warnings of that dream; God is talking to you (the recipient of the dreams).
More importantly, if you keep believing dreams, you’re heading for destruction.
2. After the Holy Spirit came, not one apostle did the Lord minister to in a dream. The last people the Lord ministered to in a dream were before the Holy Spirit came upon the Church. The Holy Spirit brought new guidance for the Church.
Joel 2:28
“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:”
Notice it was the old men that dreamt. This place is talking about men who are about to fade away.
The purpose of our message is you in Christ and Christ in you. You’ve come to Christ, born again – you are in Christ. What does it mean to be in Christ and Christ in you?
2 Corinthians 5:17
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
1 Corinthians 12:13
_”For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.” _
When you’re born again, you’re baptised in Christ. This is the spiritual baptism. This is the legality of our salvation, in Christ. He died in our place. Which means in the eyes of justice, as He was dying on the cross, we died on the cross.
And God wants us to know that what He did on the cross was for us and that we don’t have to do anything more again as sacrifice. Jesus is the one and only necessary sacrifice for all time.
Jesus died for everybody – the whole world, not Christians. Everybody paid for his sins in Christ. Jesus’ sacrifice was for everybody. His blood was enough for the sanctification; washed away all sins that were committed and will ever be committed.
“The acceptance, endorsement and affirmation of the legalities of our salvation results in the vital realities of salvation. Thus, what we are in Christ is the legal basis of actuation of the vital reality of what Christ is in us.”
