God bless you Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). There’re two key words I’ll like you to notice in our opening verse. The first is “perfect” which means “made complete,” while the second is “judgment.” Judgment is from the Gree...

HIS VIRTUE IN OUR SPIRIT - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

That is why I would remind you to stir up (re-kindle the embers of, fan the flame of, and keep burning) the [gracious] gift of God, [the inner fire] that is in you by means of the laying on of my hands [with those of the elders at your ordination] (2 Timothy 1:6 AMP). As Christians, we’re not ordinary. Jesus said, “…as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you” (John 20:21). He gave us power and authority to minister and be a blessing to our world. Paul said, “…we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us” (2 Corinthians 4:7). We can minister to the sick, the oppressed, and depressed and have virtue go out from us to them. God’s power in us is to flow from us to those in need of God’s touch in their lives. This is why you take out time to stir up the power of the Spirit in you again and again; get yourself filled with the Spirit always! Ephesians 5:18 says, “…keep on being filled with the Spirit” (ISV); it’s not a one-of...

NO WORRIES – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).  As a child of God, no matter the situation you’re faced with, refuse to worry. Refuse to fear or be apprehensive over anything. Never find yourself up all night, because you think if you sleep, something unpleasant may happen to you; stop the fear, and stop the worry. You can’t be awake, watching over yourself, at the same time that God is watching over you. The Bible says, “…he giveth his beloved sleep” (Psalm 127:2). Psalm 121:3-4 says, “He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.” He’s awake so you can sleep. So, rather than be afraid at night and keep awake, you say, “Father, I’m so glad you’re awake; you take care of ...

THINK THE WORD WAY – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Romans 12:2) As a Christian, it’s important how you think and what you think about. You’re not of this world; therefore, you shouldn’t think like an ordinary person. Don’t say, “I’m American or I’m Australian, as a result, there’s a way I think.” No! When you’re born again, you cease to be of your earthly nativity, because your spirit is recreated. You should therefore only think the Word-way. God’s Word must form the basis for the kind of thoughts you process and allow. Now that you’re in Christ, you have a new culture: the Christ-culture. Until this becomes a reality in your spirit, you’ll live like an ordinary person and not experience the sublime blessings of the life in Christ. The Bible says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL TRUE CONFESSION - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 21ST

Luxuriant Greetings Saints of God! Download your complete e-copy of January Rhapsody of Realities Daily Devotional for free in any language of your choice, for early readers, for kids, for teens and for adult also in your very own indigenous language, just click here http://dl.rhapsodyofrealities.org/en/ro/home/Pst%20John It will change your life forever. Click on this link https://cevirtualchurch.org/salvation/ceomouZP to say the prayer of Salvation and mean it with all of your heart; and God will hear you. God bless you Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much (James 5:16).  When the Bible talks about confession, many only relate to it in terms of confession of sins, but confession is much more than that. Confession means to speak the same thing with God in consent...

CELEBRATE YOUR INHERITANCE

“They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy. But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord“ (Jonah 2:8-9). Do you know that celebrating your inheritance is one of the best ways of silencing the devil? What does it mean to “celebrate you inheritance”? It means to give thanks to God for the things He’s done for you through Christ Jesus. You can celebrate your salvation, divine health, prosperity, peace, and every other good thing that’s yours by virtue of the new birth. God wants you to always celebrate your inheritance irrespective of your situation. Some folks don’t look out for and celebrate the right things in their lives or in the lives of others. They talk about negative situations such as lack, want, sickness and death all the time. You would always hear them say, “Oh, I think I have a problem in my knee!” “I don’t have enough money.” They’re always looking for, and looking at the prob...

BE A FERVENT SOUL WINNER!

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). As a child of God one of topmost priorities should be to lead those in your world who have not yet known the Lord into salvation. This is something you must take very seriously, because it’s an assignment committed to us by the Lord Himself. 2 Corinthians 5:19 says, “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” God did not only call you into the fellowship of His Son Jesus (1 Corinthians 1:9), He’s also called you to partner with Him in soul winning. In Romans 12:11 we’re admonished not to be slothful in business, but to be fervent in spirit, serving the Lord. It’s talking about being fervent in God’s number one business, which soul winning. People are God’s greatest assets on earth. Until you start winning people for Jesus, you’re not involved in God’s asset...

GOD’S DESIRE FOR YOU

“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant” (Psalm 35:27) God has called you to a life of prosperity. Referring to God’s children, the Bible says: “If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures” (Job 36:11). This is your heritage as a child of God. Prosperity transcends having money; being rich, wealthy and affluent is just an aspect of it. Prosperity means to be safe and well, to fare well in life; to live happily in rest, health, peace, safety, riches and favor. It means to experience total soundness and wholeness in every aspect of your life – to be successful in all you do. God doesn’t just desire prosperity for you (3 John 2), He gave it to you freely in Christ (1 Timothy 6:17). The Bible says Abraham was blessed in all things, and we are his seed; “and if ye be Christ’s, then ar...

GET HIS LATEST INFORMATION - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them (Exodus 6:3). One beautiful benefit derived from constant fellowship with the Lord is that you’re in sync with the Spirit; you’re updated with new and latest information from “headquarters.” Through fellowship, we receive ideas and strategies from the Father; we get to understand more, the things He wants us to do, and how to do them in accordance with His standards, desires, and perfect will. You may be doing what God told you to do, but if you’re not in constant fellowship or communion with Him, you may be carrying out your assignment without the “Father’s latest information.” As you walk with Him, the exact knowledge of His will, His plans, purposes and intents become clearer to you. Think about it this way: If you told someone to build you a house, and he comes up with a beautiful architectural design, because the house is yours, and you have and k...

THE RIGHT SONGS IN WORSHIP - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

But now bring me a minstrel. And it came to pass, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the LORD came upon him (2 Kings 3:15). It’s so important to worship the Lord. Through worship, you set up an atmosphere for miracles in and around you, and create the right environment for the Spirit of God to operate. It may be with a song or a scripture; as you sing or declare it in worship, the presence of God can literally overwhelm your situation, resulting in a miracle. It’s one of the several reasons we make music unto the Lord. The right spiritual song of worship can position you to hear from God. Once, Elisha was with three kings who came to him for counsel. But because he was offended at one of them, the king of Israel, and had responded to the king in anger, he couldn’t minister under the anointing (2 Kings 3:13-14). The kings wanted to receive the Word of God from him, but he couldn’t readily prophesy. So, what did he do? He said, “Bring me a musician.” The Bible says whe...

BE BOLD TO USE HIS NAME – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name (Philippians 2:9). It doesn’t matter what the condition is or the challenges that you might be facing; if you’d use the Name of Jesus, victory is assured. The Name of Jesus is superior to all other names. Sickness is a name; death is a name; poverty is a name; depression is a name, but the Name of Jesus is greater than them all. Use that name! Colossians 3:17 tells us to do all things in word or deed in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Name opens every door, and it’s been given to you to live by. You’ve been given the power of attorney to use the Name of Jesus. Fear may attack you and try to hold you in bondage, but refuse to concede; use the Name of Jesus! Declare, “I refuse to fear, in Jesus’ Name!” All of God’s authority has been vested in that Name; use it against sickness, disease and death; use it against fear. We all can, and should, use the Name of Jesus. You need not fear an...

LET CHRIST BE MANIFESTED IN YOU – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). The greatest thing that could ever happen to you isn’t only to have and know Jesus Christ, but to also have Him manifested in your life. If you’re sick in your body today, what you need is the manifestation of Christ in that part of your body. The Bible says, “... For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8). When He’s manifested in your life, everything that’s not of God will give way. When Christ is manifested in the life of a sinner, the power of sin is broken, and righteousness takes effect. When He’s manifested in the life of one that’s bound, the chains are broken, and deliverance takes place. Christ is the answer. Christ is all you need. Christ is everything. Christ in you is the hope of glory. Let Him be manifested in you—spirit, soul, and body. Subject yo...

LIVE FOR HIS GLORY - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME.

And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again (2 Corinthians 5:15). If you truly believe that Jesus died to save you, then you must continually live for His glory and lead others to salvation. We’re in the last days, and the time is short. There’s no room for complacency; you must become vocal with the Gospel now more than ever. Yes, there may be peculiar times, occasions, and places where we might need to be tactful in our preaching of the Gospel; nonetheless, we should never lose our confidence in Christ and the boldness to publicly proclaim His Lordship. We’re His co-laborers and partners, working together with Him to reach the lost and bring salvation in Christ to every man. This is our primary responsibility as Christians. The Apostles lived for this cause. Many have suffered severe persecutions and even lost their lives for preaching the Gospel. It isn't, and shouldn’t, be diff...

SET YOUR FAITH ON COURSE - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18). God loves you and cares about you, regardless of the challenges and difficulties you may be facing right now. He always wants to see you win and live happy every day. Jesus said, “...In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). Never allow anything get you frustrated; train your faith. Tell yourself, “Against hope, I believe in hope that all things are working together for my good” (Romans 8:28). The triumphant life is yours in Christ Jesus; refuse to settle for less. Things might not exactly be going as you’ve expected, but maintain your confession of the Word. Don’t accept defeat and don’t give in to sickness or anything that hurts. Don’t say, “I’ve been infected,” just because you noticed some symptoms in your body. Faith doe...

A STRONG DESIRE FOR THE WORD – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever Amen (2 Peter 3:18). As a child of God, you must relish the Word of God; you must enjoy the Word. Your most exciting times should be when you’re in fellowship with the Word. God’s Word is everything; it’s what you need to be all that God has destined you to be in life. Having come to Christ, you must have a strong desire to grow in your spirit. Just like a new-born baby is fed with natural food to enhance its growth and well being, so also does God expect the one who’s born again to feed, and keep feeding, on the Word. We’re born of the Word: “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever” (1 Peter 1:23). And then 1 Peter 2:2 says, “As new born babes, desire the sincere milk of the word that ye may grow thereby.” Nothing else will make you grow spiritually, except the Word. God’s Word will build y...
