(Isaiah 32:17).   Our opening verse reminds of the true definition of faith in Hebrews 11:1 which says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Faith is the quiet, confident assurance of what we hope for and the reality of things yet unseen. That’s the reason Jesus said, “…If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you” (Matthew 17:20). The effect of righteousness is faith; mountain-moving faith; with which you affirm that all things are possible unto you, living without fears, worries, conflicts, and agitations. He desires that we be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. I’ll like you to notice the distinctive word “knowledge.” That word is the Greek “Epignosis,” and it means absolute knowledge, far removed from speculations and assumptions; it’s exact, precise, definite or full knowledge. Jesus didn’t send us to preach the Gospel to human beings only; He said, “Preach the Gospel to every creature.” That’s quite instructive. It means you can proclaim the Word to anything and everything around you, because everything in life has intelligence. Everything God made can hear and recognize His voice. Jesus proved this true. Once, He spoke to a tree and it withered from its roots (Mark 11:12-14, 20-21). Perhaps your car has been grounded; if you’d talk to it; if you’d release words of power to that car, before long, it’ll be back on the road. Maybe your house and everything in it is getting old, you can call forth a renewal. Declare, “House, in the Name of Jesus, you’re renewed.” Walk through the rooms and prophesy that new furniture, decorative items, electronics, etc., are coming in the Name of Jesus! Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah (Psalm 68:19). In Matthew Chapter 6, Jesus gave His disciples a format on how to pray, and in verse 11, He said, “Give us this day our daily bread.” When He taught them this format of prayer, He hadn’t died on the cross; the New Testament hadn’t started, because a will doesn’t come into existence until the death of the testator. After the death of Jesus Christ, the New Testament was sealed; meaning that every provision from His will had become legal; you could now take advantage of it. Jesus’ teaching in that prayer does suggest that every day, in the mind of God, there’s a blessing for you; there’s more than enough supply for you every day. Ever since you were born again and you received Christ, there’s been a daily supply for you; that’s what “daily bread” means; the Master wasn’t talking about a loaf of bread. The reason a lot of God’s children feel despondent and helpless when they go through difficult situations is that many don’t pray; and for those who pray, many do so amiss. Life may be replete with challenges and persecutions; however, as Christians, we need to realize that even when we’re going through such, we can still be filled with joy unspeakable and full of glory. In Genesis chapter one, God was operating on a spiritual principle which can be more clearly seen in James 1:14-15. “But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” Sin is the product of lust, and lust actually means a strong, urgent, evil desire. Though this scripture directly relates to a negative desire, yet we find this principle does not only work in the negative realm but also in the positive. When a man is tempted, his lust, that is, the wrong desire tries to pull him away. Finally when he agrees with the wrong desire in his mind, he is enticed. Initially a seed is sown when the man is drawn away by his own lust. This principle does not only work in the negative realm, because good desire can also conceive. Did you know our Lord is unlimited? Jeremiah the Prophet in prayer stated "Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee" (Jer 32.17).
